Welcome to 2 Rebels On The Road
We are William and Marla “MJ” Jungen, empty nesters who not
to long ago said goodbye to traditional life and embarked on our biggest
adventure yet! We are traveling the United States and doing it full-time in our
vintage travel trailer named “Aloha Aggie”. Just us, our 2 pups aka pup-tarts
and the road.
From a house and kids to full-time RV travel!
That’s us in a nutshell. We were part of the traditional
set; house, job, kids, pets, bills etc., but after a few milestones, small
accidents with not so small results and universal direction we chose to make a
new happily ever after. We left our jobs, sold our home and bought a 1968
vintage Aloha travel trailer, packed up the pups and started a new chapter in
our crazy journey together. Much to our
family’s chagrin we left it all behind to travel full-time and see the sights.
Never the less here we are living a real life adventure making memories and
experiencing life like never before.

Everywhere! As any
good traveler will tell you, “ have no fixed plan or intentional arrival date”.
How can we afford to do this?
This is not a “no working retirement”. Rather a new way of living that allows us to
experience life instead of collect it.
The key for us was to minimize what our needs were and more than
anything prioritize real needs. We left
our darling home with a beautifully landscaped yard, koi pond and hot tub
behind. We gave up things that
traditional life often calls necessity.
We sold EVERYTHING! We didn’t
even get a storage unit. Other than a
few family mementos and heirlooms it’s all gone. If it didn’t fit within Aggie’s 17ft by 8ft
frame, we didn’t keep it.
So how do we earn a living on the road?
- 2 Rebels On The Road actually produces revenue streams in multiple ways including affiliate programs, social media marketing and digital content creation.
- We also run 2 Etsy shops that produce income and help support our lifestyle. One is all digital content that I create and the other satisfies my intense artistic side with jewelry and wearable art design.
- I also do trunk shows with my designs and will be traveling to shows around the country.
- I offer social media and marketing content creation for brands that want to have a genuine experience with their audience. I began working with clients from my own passion for social media, branding and audience engagement and absolutely love helping create solutions for other companies.
